Before sin entered the world, we were originally created to live in God’s presence experiencing his friendship daily. You are as close to God as you choose to be. James 4:8 “Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.” You share deep thoughts and feelings with your human friends, right? God longs for us to share our deepest selves with Him, even if it’s sharing hurts, resentments, or disappointments.
