“Get up and walk.” The sick man didn’t know who Jesus was. After 38 years of helplessly and hopelessly laying by the pool of Bethesda, this man had probably lost all hope. When this guy, Jesus, came by and asked him “Do you want to get well?” he responded, “I can’t.” Do you ever feel like that? Like you have been wallowing in misery for so long, you just can’t see the hope? Jesus showed up and made a difference in this guy’s life. Don’t give up.
