God is always with us, even through the changes we experience in the seasons of our lives. 2 Corinthians 1:1-10 reminds us that God is a God of comfort! God comforts us so that we can comfort others. Greg asks us today, who is it we are refreshing? Who are you reaching out to in order to comfort as God has comforted us? The more we suffer, the more God will provide His comfort. Do you enjoy riding roller coasters? If you feel like your life is on a roller coaster, try reading a Psalm a day. Today, we are looking into Psalm 13:1-6 for some relief from hurting and sorrow. Everybody has those different seasons in life. We see David having an honest conversation with God in these verses. He asks God, “Will you forget me forever?” Do you ever ask that question? Just because you’re on the downswing of the rollercoaster right now doesn’t mean you’ll stay there. There is hope.

Forgiveness. It’s a tough word. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians that “Love keeps no records of wrongs.” If that’s true about love, then it should be true about friendship. Who do you need to call today and mend a fence with? There is such power and freedom in forgiveness! Some of you are in a mental and emotional prison allowing the enemy to keep you enslaved. Based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, there is a season for everything in life. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing expecting different results. It may be time to plant some new seeds! James 4:2 says “You have not because you have not.” Maybe it’s time to ask for help. Some of the best money I’ve ever spent is on working with a Christian counselor. Start planting some new seeds to put yourself in a new environment!
