But I Wasn't a Smoker

Lindi Campbell shares how she was blindsided that she was a part of the 1% % of non-smokers her age to catch their cancer before it spread.  17% of non-smokers actually get lung cancer but it’s that very rare number (1 %) that catch it early at my age who have never smoked.

Faith During Trials

1 Peter 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

⁶ In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. ⁷ These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

John 16:33 - I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 - ⁸ We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; ⁹ persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Psalm 28:7 - The Lord is my strength and my shield;   my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy,  and with my song I praise him.

Colossians 3:23-24 - ²³ Whatever you do, do your work ^[a]heartily, as for the Lord ^[b]rather than for men, ²⁴ knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward ^[c]of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
