Growing up in a white community John never considered himself prejudice until his daughter brought home an African American boyfriend. He felt the discomfort of this young man potentially being part of his family. It was then that God helped him to honestly look at his heart and confront his discomfort. He now encourages you, too, to look into a mirror with the honesty God requires and examine your heart about the Black Lives Matter movement. Remember, Jesus sacrificed his life for black lives, too. They DO matter.

Reflecting on Memorial Day and all the sacrifices our military have made to protect our freedoms, Greg also reflects on how Jesus sacrificed his one and only life so that we may be free from sin and have a bridge to God. If you visit a cemetery, you will see a birth date and a death date on the tombstone. Between those two dates is a dash. So, today, Greg asks you, what are you doing with your dash? Today Greg addresses the subject of suicide. As many of you may already know, Darrin Patrick, author and teaching pastor at Seacoast Church in Charleston, South Carolina took his life on May 8th. It breaks our hearts to see someone we love lose hope.
As Hal Lindsey said, "Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air...but only for one second without HOPE." Greg shares encouragement for maintaining hope.
